Season Notes:
* Varsity finished 14-6-3, one of the best seasons in recent history.
* JV finished 14-3-2, second in the Classic 8.
* Two teams from the Classic 8 Conference, Kettle Moraine (19-7-1) and Catholic Memorial (18-6-1), qualified for the WIAA State Meet, and both placed 2nd.
* One of Memorial's 5 losses was a 3-1 loss to Mukwonago.
* 9 of Mukwonago's games were against teams with top ten or honorable mention state rankings.
* 11 different MHS players scored goals this season.
* 15 different MHS players scored assists.
* Two players--Sean Lenz and Cooper Gonring--had assist "hat trick' games, scoring 3 assists in a single game.
* MHS should have plenty of scoring power returning for 2012. Returning players scored 26 goals in 2011 compared to 11 last year. In addition, players like Ben Ducett, Jay Reardon, Collin Peters and Marco Vukovich had monster scoring numbers on JV and should make a huge impact next year.
* MHS scored 64 goals in 2011 compared to 39 in 2010. Mukwonago's top 2 scorers combined for 32 goals in 2011.

Congratulations to Coach Schulte
The 2011 season marks Coach Shannon Schulte's 10th season as MHS varsity head coach. In that time she has had eight winning seasons and has amassed 121 wins against only 93 losses. This year's team had the second highest number of wins of her coaching tenure and the second best winning percentage, behind only her 2003 team that went 18-5-4.
